Hello again!! I’m back with more coffee inspiration! If you missed this morning’s post for my CASE-ing Tuesday project using the Latte Love Bundle, you can see the post here. It’s definitely a retro card that is actually a gift card holder! Were you able to catch my Facebook Live this afternoon? If not, you can catch the replay over on my YouTube Channel. While you’re there, please be sure to give my video a thumbs up! Let’s take a look at my coffee projects.

I just love everything about this suite!! Let’s look at my scrapbook layout first:

Here are the measurements:

  • Base in Basic White cardstock – 12″ x 12″
  • A Little Latte DSP – 7 1/4″ x 12″
  • Pecan Pie cardstock – 2 @ 3/4″ x 12″
  • Lost Lagoon cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 6 1/4″
  • Photo – 4″ x 6″

This layout is based on a sketch that I found on a Facebook Group called Scrapping Reflections. I love using sketches to start my layout process – for me it cuts down on my time as I just need to pick my papers and embellishments. A hint on the Pecan Pie strips – if you don’t want to cut a 12″ x 12″ piece down, use some 8 1/2″ x 11″ and attach your ribbon over the gap that’s open. Easy peasy!! I did die cut my title in Early Espresso cardstock that I had added some of the Adhesive Sheets to the back to make sticking them down easier. I love the little splatter image from the stamp set too!! Here’s a look at the two layouts from our Scrap Club this past weekend:

Aren’t those fun layouts? For the first layout, I used a sketch from PageMaps.com, which I’ve been using for YEARS for inspiration and the second one is based on a sketch found on the Scrapping Reflections Facebook Page. I have to say that with Stampin’ Up! welcomeing so many Close to My Heart Makers and adding to our scrapbooking product line in the near future, I am very excited! There will be even more fun and inspiration coming!!

Now let’s look at the first card:

Here are the measurements:

  • Base in Thick Basic White cardstock – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Lost Lagoon cardstock – 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • A Little Latte DSP – 3 1/2″  x 4 3/4″

I cased this card from Ronda Wade who has the very best stamping style! We have similar styles and tastes, so it makes it easy to create along with her. When I attached the ribbon to over my DSP/cardstock layer, I added some of the Tear & Tape to the ends of the ribbon to help hold it down. There is a 2 3/8″ circle punch of Vellum cardstock, (which is retiring, I know, gasp!) under the stitched square. The large image of the latte is die cut from the DSP and the two cups are in Pecan Pie and Lost Lagoon cardstocks. Aren’t they adorable?!? The square is die cut with a Stylish Shapes Die and the sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso ink.

For the iniside, I stamped the sentiment from the Very Best Occasions stamp set, also retiring, in Early Espresso ink and the splatter in stamped off Pecan Pie ink.

The envelope was decorated with one of the images stamped in Early Espresso ink.

Now let’s look at my gift card holder:

Here are the measurements:

  • Base in Lost Lagoon cardstock – 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
  • A Little Latte DSP – 12″ x 4″, scored at 1 1/2″ and 6 3/4″
  • Basic White cardstock – 4″ x 3″ for the inside

I love it when you can create a gift card holder to look like a card and this does the trick! It’s another of Ronda Wade’s with a twist. When I folded over the 1 1/2″ scored section, I punched a thumb notch using the 1 3/4″ Circl Punch and used Tear & Tape to secure the edges. I then folded it in half and added it to the card base. I stamped the mug in Early Espresso ink, colored it with Pool Party Stampin’ Blends, stamped the coffee in Pecan Pie ink (stamping off first) and then die cut it. The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso ink n another Stylish Shapes square and added the mug with dimensionals. The bow is from a couple of strands of the ribbon and attached with a Mini Glue Dot. And those Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots are sooooo stinking cute!!!

For the inside, I stamped my sentiment in Early Espresso as well as the coffee beans.

I added the beans on the front of the envelope, although, I think the DSP would look cute on the flap!

So what do you think? Isn’t that a fun suite?? The swirl dots and ribbon are not available at the moment, but will be back in stock soon. If you would like to add any of these products to your stash, just head over to my online store here. The Boho Blue Mini Cut & Emboss Machine will be retiring soon and is still only $63.00! That item number is 161104 and I if you’re a blue lover like I am, you’re going to want this one!!!

Thanks for joining me this week and I hope the rest of your week is a good one!
