Hey everyone! I hope your week is going well. I wanted to share a little note card that I created using one of our Note Card and Envelope packs. I think those are often overlooked in our catalog, but they really are a great way to create a thank you note or thinking of you or any occasion for that matter, card in just a matter of minutes. You get 20 note cards that measure 3 1/2″ x 5″, plus 20 envelopes for only $6.00  That’s a pretty good deal if you ask me, and they come in Whisper White and Very Vanilla. Here are the measurements for my little note card:

  • Whisper White note card, 3 1/2″ x 5″
  • Daffodil Delight cardstock layer cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 3″ x 4 1/2″
  • Birthday Memories DSP cut at 1 1/4″ x 3″

Once everything is cut, it goes together pretty quickly. The DSP was actually a scrap left over from my birthday card class. I adhered it to the bottom of the Whisper White layer and then added the piece of Daffodil Delight Double Stitch Ribbon to hide the seam. I stamped the sentiment just above the seam in Pacific Point ink. Then I adhered them both to the card front. I took a scrap piece of Whisper White and stamped the stitched circle in Pacific Point ink, then the lemonade in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored in the lemonade and the slice with the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker and the straw with the Light Calypso Coral Blends Marker. I’m excited for the new catalog to come out because there be 11 new color combos coming out. I punched it out with the 1 1/4″ circle and then punched a 1 3/8″ scalloped circle and layered the two together. I added them to the card front with a dimensional. I added some Wink of Stella to the lemonade and slice and voila! A bright and cheery note card.

I hope you enjoyed today’s quick card. If you want to order anything from today’s card, you can head over to my online store and when you place your order using Hostess Code 3JQ9N9HR, I’ll send you a pack of handmade cards. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a good evening.
